He began formal meditation 40 years ago and immediately trained to teach meditation and yoga (Transcendental Meditation). Swamiji was certied in Ayurveda and Vedic astrology two decades ago. A true pioneer in North America, Swamiji started one of the rst Ayurveda certication programs, herb companies, and health centers in 1990. He is the rst person in the west to receive a Doctor of Science in Ayurvedic Research his pilot study on Ayurveda & Allergies was published in an Ayurveda journal. Swamiji is an Ayurvedic & Spiritual board advisor for Light on Ayurveda Journal published by Dartmouth College. Swamiji met his guru, Swami Narayan Tirtha in India in 1988, who recognized him as an innate or natural-born swami (monk) in 1990. Swamiji studied Ayurveda privately with the dean & a professor at Benares Hindu University, Varanasi India (Indias Harvard/Cambridge), and began a decade-long study with Himalayan village Ayurvedic doctors. In Ecuadors Amazon rainforest, two shamans recognized Swamiji as a shaman and a healer (2008). This is where Swamiji realized his unique Instant & Permanent Heart Blessings energy gift. Swamiji is the author of the Ayurveda Encyclopedia (2nd ed. 23,000 copies in print), and wrote a commentary, the Bhagavad Gita for Modern Times. [Amazon.com book links]. Swamiji is a professional speaker, presenting at the White House Commission on Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, John Hopkins Penn State Universities, and countless radio shows. He is a member of Toastmasters International. Based on scientic research, Swamiji uses hypnosis, NLP, and Neurofeedback brainwaves MP3s to supplement energy healing. He is a member of the American Hypnosis Association.
