Joys, Concerns and Pastoral Prayer

Gods heart is always open to Gods people and so we are called together to lift celebrations and concerns in prayer. God joins us in our deepest moments of pain and our greatest moments of joy...and everything in between. We take this time to pray for ourselves, the church, and the world in word and song.

The Great Thanksgiving

The Table of God is a celebration of gifts; our gifts and Gods gifts. During the song, hold up high your gifts of food for the food panty and the children will gather them. Deacons will pass baskets to receive your financial gifts and offerings. All of these gifts will be brought forward and placed on the table, along with the bread and cup and the childrens feast. After the Prayer of Thanksgiving, everyone is invited to come forward to receive Gods gifts in communion. As you receive communion, you are invited to move to the front of the sanctuary where we all stand together and sing John 3:16. If you are not comfortable with your children taking communion prior to baptism, they are invited to receive the childrens feast at the front of the sanctuary at the same time.

The Congregation Scatters to Serve ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nursery: Children are always welcome in the service. We do provide a nursery for newborn - 3 years old for anyone who prefers to take their little ones there. Worship and Wonder: In room 117, the children will hear Bible stories and learn about God while experiencing the presence of God. Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to participate during the service. They will gather in the narthex during the passing of Christs peace and go together.

Congregational Care Request Card

At the close of worship, all are invited to commit or recommit ourselves to following Jesus. We are sent forth into the world in song, charged to be disciples in our daily lives.

It is the desire of our elders to be available for spiritual care. If you have a need with which the elders may be of assistance, please complete this card, tear it out, and place it in the provided box in the Narthex.
