INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM

To: Mr. Paul Walker From: Mr. Will Smith Subject: Delay in Hybris Project due to technical failure Date: January 28, 2012

The Hybris project was delayed due to a technical failure in the assembly line system of A7 production department. This had led to a loss of 1.2 million dollars. The Hybris project was an agreement with Matrix Ltd., one of our major dealers. According to the agreement, the Hybris project was supposed to be completed by January 30 but due to insufficient production, the project had to be delayed by four days. This had damaged the companys relationship with them. Short-circuiting in the assembly line system was the main cause of the failure. The accidental over-supply of current in the wires led to short-circuit of the system. I have replaced the old system with new and advance M60 assembly line system which is capable of withstanding such over-supply of current. The loss in volume of production will be covered by extending the working hours. I also had apologized and assured Matrix Ltd. that project would be completed within four days i.e. by February 3.

Field Trip Report

To: Mr. Jack Sparrow, General Manager From: Mr. Ray Kroc, Field Service Rep. Subject: Installation of Prototype AKS-17 fire alarm system Date: January 28, 2012 A prototype AKS-17 fire alarm system has been installed in the junior wing of DSR School, New York. It will be field tested for two months. I was assigned by work order TS-156 to install the prototype AKS-17 fire alarm system owned by Hugo Industries at Miami, Florida. All the arrangements have been field evaluated. AKS-17 is an automatic fire alarm system that notifies the building occupants to evacuate in the event of a fire or other emergency, report the event to an off-premises location in order to summon emergency services, and makes the structure and associated systems to control the spread of fire and smoke. I flew to Florida on January 20th and returned on January 25th. The smoke detectors and the sensors were installed without any difficulty and have been placed at the required positions. AKS-17 fire alarm system utilizes Emergency Voice Alarm Communication Systems (EVACS) to provide pre-recorded and manual voice messaging to building occupants. The fire alarm system did not have a Secondary (Backup) power supplies. I have installed Secondary (backup) Power supplies: This component, commonly consisting of sealed lead-acid storage batteries or other emergency sources including generators, is used to supply energy in the event of a primary power failure. Few minor display faults were found in the monitor room which was fixed. I then retested all the detectors and sensors and no faults were found. Mr. Jacob, school security supervisor will give you the weekly reports via email. The prototype will be removed between March 27 and March 30 by a technician who will be arranged by the field service department.

INSPECTION REPORT
Newly purchased machineries for A7 production department

The newly purchased machineries for the A7 production department will be ready for use from March 1, 2012. Except for one major fault in one of the machines, rest of the machinery is fine. Due to slow production, the obsolete machines in the A7 production department are being replaced by the new and high-tech machineries which produced twice the old ones and are more efficient. The purchase order was made with Sky-net Corporation on January 31, 2012 and it was delivered on February 22, 2012. I went for the inspection of the machinery on next day i.e. on February 23. The contractor delivered the machinery on time. While inspecting the machines, I found that one of the machines does not have an automatic timer system. I have order for the replacement of that machine with a new one and sky-net had assured that it would deliver by February 26. Rest all the machineries were found acceptable. I suggest an inspection for the machine that would be arriving on February 26 before contactor payment is approved.
