During the weekend of April 19-21, Girl Scouts across the council will gather in their local communities to honor the organizations rich tradition of community service. All registered Girl Scouts, adults and youth, are asked to go out and do a good turn this weekend to help build community and promote the spirit of volunteerism. This good turn can include donating goods to a food bank, helping out at an animal shelter, carrying groceries for a neighbor, and the list goes on. Be creative! In addition to Camp Pisgah Work Day, we will provide an opportunity to participate in service projects at camp on Sunday, April 20 the last day of GSU from 9-11am.

Last year, during Do A Good Turn Weekend of Service, Girl Scouts and volunteers provided nearly 9,000 hours in community service over a single weekend! This years goal is 10,000 Lets make it happen!
