March/April 2013 CHURCH NEWS - Mt. Zion Baptist Church welcomes Pastor Michael and Jenny Hunt (and their baby Bethany) as successors to our various roles at our sending church (Missions Director, Music Pastor, Childrens Ministry Director and many more). We are thankful that the Lord has given us good Christians like Pastor Michael and his wife to work with. He carries the same burden, love for souls and desire to serve the Lord in the same spirit of excellence. MINISTRY NEWS - As we minister to Gods people through the preaching of His Word and godly music, we are seeing many Christians rededicate themselves anew! Altars are full or hands go up as the Lord speaks to hearts through our ministry work. We saw one young man (a 13 year old) who rode one of the churchs bus, come forward to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior! In another church a younger man (roughly 11 years old) didnt get saved, but was clearly battling the decision while in the pew. Many young people respond favorably by rededicating their hearts back to the Lord. As we seek to raise support for the Philippines, the Lord is blessing and using us to bear fruit here in the U.S. FAMILY NEWS - Traveling is trying most especially to W.T. (he is 2 years old). Although he hates being strapped in a car seat, he gets plenty of distractions through good music, a mother who stays on his schooling while on the road, and many types of vehicles on the road. He really likes trains and trucks! Baby Joseph (2 months) is doing fine. He is beginning to show neat signs of a pleasant personality. Marcia is my amazing partner on the road! She developed a packing list that seems impeccable, and thus far, the list has not failed. I am so thankful for a wife who keeps me and my children organized! Ministry is pleasant when the entire family is busy serving the LORD and each other!
