STOCKBRIDGE-The Perennial Gardener, a lecture series, will be offered on Thursdays, April 4, 11 and 18, at Berkshire Botanical Garden, located at the intersection of Routes 102 & 183 in Stockbridge, MA. Designed for both first-time and intermediate gardeners, this series will consider all aspects necessary to create a beautiful and satisfying perennial border. From the Ground Up, April 4, will cover soil and bed preparation. Selecting and Designing with Perennials, April 11, will focus on easy-to-grow plants and successful combinations for three-season interest. At Tending the Perennial Border, April 18, all aspects of keeping the border looking its best, with a focus on low maintenance techniques that increase soil fertility, will be discussed. Instructor Elisabeth Cary is the Director of Education at the Berkshire Botanical Garden and has been gardening for over 25 years. She specializes in perennial, vegetable and mixed-border gardens. This workshop is an interactive program, and uses exercises and discussion to teach participants to enlist self-compassion -- and compassion for others in order to be more present, connected and powerful in all relationships and endeavors. Shana says When people look at a situation with compassion everything changes. Anger dissipates, understanding increases, and non-defensive dialogue can begin. In this workshop, participants can learn how to ease tension with co-workers, approach parenting more calmly, and find peace in personal relationships. Shana has a Masters in Counseling Psychology, and is a Board-Certified Life Coach. She specializes in working with clients as they move through challenging transitions in life, relationships, and career. Coaching is an approach to solving lifes challenges which has become popular in the past decade, and has proved highly effective in a number of life areas. Coaching uses the perspective that the client is whole and healthy, rather than needing to be healed. The technique encourages a client to uncover and cultivate awareness of their own strengths, and thus to learn to implement actions and decisions which are in their own best interest. The Ultimate Sports Program is signing up families for two big events taking place this summer. USPs 2nd Annual Discover the Outdoors is signing up families for
Programs At The Ultimate Sports
an incredible day of outdoor fun on Sunday June, 23rd at Brownstone Discovery and Exploration Park in Portland CT. From 9:30am to 7pm, families get to enjoy a day of swimming, cliff diving, rock climbing, Ziplining, wakeboarding, kayaking, rope swings and inflatables. Cost is only $10 for kids and $20 for adults. Food is available or families can pack a lunch. On August 10th, USP families are taking our 2nd trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando. USP gets big discounts on both Walt Disney and Universal Studio park tickets. Westgate Towers has given us timeshare units for a great price. Most families are going for 7 days but the length is up to each family. Two of USPs most popular programs are being held in April at Westfield State University. Tuesday nights from 5:30 to 7pm, starting on April 9th, families get to enjoy learning how to Rock Climb at the schools Woodward Center, right across the street from Stanley Park. Program runs for 4 weeks, with 15 spots available, but the during April Vacation (4/16), the wall is open to families to come by and give climbing a shot. On Friday April 19th, USPs Ropes Course Experience is being held at the ropes course behind the Horace Mann Center. Event runs from 2 to 6pm and there are 60 spots available. This document governs all legal aspects of the transfer. Seven Years Tax returns, canceled checks/ receipts, records for tax deductions taken.
