Primary Sources: Park, Chan Jong. "Korea's Development under Park Chung Hee." E-mail interview. 08 Mar. 2013. This interview was conducted in Korean with Park Chan Jong, an ex-member of the National Assembly and the chairman of Asia Economic Research Institute. He discussed the economic development of Korea. Since he was an assembly member during the President Park's era, he mentioned the condition of South Korea after the Korean War. Furthermore, he provided information of the radical changes of South Korea in a short time period.

This interview is conducted in Korean with Shin Dae Jong, a participant of Saemaul Movement and principle of Kyeongsan Elementary School, discusses some information of Sameul Movement. Since Mr. Shin actually went through this movement during his youth period, we asked him about real life of that period and some changes that followed after this movement. Mr. Shin told us the reality of South Korea after the Korean War and he announced about President Park Chung Hee's policy and citizen's thought.

Also he is the one who created the Saemaul Movement. While he was in hospital due to an accident, he made a new song for this movement. He composed not only lyrics but also music. While he was making the song, he was thinking about his people who tried to developed their own country. This first-hand account was very important to our project because it made us more aware of the feelings of the people in the period.

Furthermore, Dr.Sorenson summarized Park Chung Hee's policies as well as his achievements, which was used to create background information and the timeline of President Park.
