There was once a man who had two sons.

One day, the youngest son said to the father, Father, I want my part of the family money now.

Il padre, allora, divise i beni fra i due figli. Alcuni giorni dopo, il figlio minore, fatti i bagagli, part per un paese lontano.

The father gave his younger son the money. Shortly afterwards, the son packed all his things and went to a far country.

There, the young son wasted all his money.

Soon, there was a famine and the younger son had no food. He went looking for work and found a job helping a pig farmer feed the pigs. The son was so hungry that he would have been happy to eat the pigs food.

Finalmente, il figlio minore disse tra s: "Ritornero a casa da mio padre e gli diro: 'Padre, non sono pi degno di essere chiamato tuo figlio, ma, ti prego, prendimi come servo!'" Cos deciso, il giovane si preparo e si mise in viaggio per andare dal padre, ma, mentre era ancora lontano suo padre lo vide e corse, lo abbraccio e lo bacio. Finally, the son decided, I will go home to my father and tell him, Father, Im not good enough to be your son anymore. Make me one of your servants. And off he went. While the son was still a ways away from the house, the father saw him. The father ran out to meet him and hugged and kissed him.

Il padre disse ai servi: "Svelti, portate il vestito pi bello che abbiamo in casa e aiutatelo ad indossarlo! Mettetegli un anello al dito e sandali ai piedi! Mangiamo e facciamo festa, perch questo mio figlio era perduto ed stato ritrovato". Cos cominciarono la festa.

The father called the servants and said, Give my son a new robe! Put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet! Lets eat and celebrate! My son who was lost has been found! So they all celebrated together.

Qualsiasi cosa sia successa o possa succedere, non perdiamo mai valore agli occhi di Dio. Per Lui, siete sempre inestimabili.

No matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value in Gods eyes. To Him, you will always be priceless.
