Sellers ID Number: This will be assigned to you with this registration. Each consigner has their own unique number assigned to them, however the colors are re-used. Please make sure that your consigner number is on all your tags! All consignors must be registered by one week prior to the sale. Email director@oldbridgepreschool.org or call 703-730-3895 x. 104 to register and receive price tags with seller ID number. If you do not have time to prepare or participate, please consider donating your items to Old Bridge Preschool at least one week prior to the sale. If you choose to not participate, please inform the preschool at least one week in advance. Consigner Numbers will be re-assigned if they are not used and you do not notify the office of interest in continuing to consign. All items will be inspected during check in: We will not accept clothing that is stained, ripped, has holes, is missing buttons or snaps, have broken zippers, hems undone, or open seams. We will not accept items which are not for Spring OR Summer. We will not accept toys or other items that are missing pieces or do not work. It is the consigners responsibility to ensure that all items have not been recalled. You can check your items on the US government recall website at www.recalls.gov. Items Welcome: Items appropriate for this sale are all Fall and Winter clothing in good condition in all childrens sizes from 0-3 months to youth sizes. We also accept: Like-new shoes and boots (no scuffs) Winter Jackets Toys, Bikes, Riding Toys, Toddler Push Toys and Outdoor Toys Baby Accessories (bibs, hats, socks, and blankets) Cribs with drop rail and Bassinets Bedding, Rugs, and other decorative childrens room accessories Strollers, Gliders, Exersaucers, High Chairs Games, Puzzles, Videos, DVDs, CDs, and Computer Games Books Sorry, but we cannot accept car seats, pack n plays, cribs with drop sides or household goods that are not specifically for children. We will not accept stuffed animals as they do not sell well. We also will not accept Maternity Clothes. Please include batteries in items that need them.

Hang and Tag Clothes Properly: Bring all clothing on hangers ready to sell. Clean and pressed clothing will sell better. Group clothing together by size and gender so that it will be quicker to place them on the sales floor. DO NOT put S-M-L, put the number size on instead (i.e. 24 months, 3T, 8, etc.). The preschool has a limited number of hangers from the previous sale which you may use. We have also found that many stores (such as Kohls, OshKosh, Carters) will donate hangers. Use the tags that are provided. They are color coded and numbered. If you need more tags, please contact the preschool. Write your pricing information with blue or black pen and write as clearly as possible. Do not cross out a price. If you make a mistake, use a new tag. Clothing must be tagged using a safety pin or tagging gun only. No straight pins, tape, staples, etc. will be accepted on clothing. If a tag comes off the item during the sale, we may not be able to locate what it belongs to. As you look at the item, the hangers shall face left (like a question mark or a number 7). Secure skirts and pants to hangers with safety pins or use pants hangers. Prices must be attached to the clothing on the upper right side of the clothing or to the clothing tag if using a tagging gun not to the hangers. Tag Descriptions: Write your consigner number on the tag if it is not already completed on your tags. Please include brand name, color, design, # of pieces. Please be specific as possible. The better your description of the item, the better the chance we can attach it back to your item should the price come off. Circle the price of your item if you do not want it to sell price during the last hour of the sale. Items with prices not circled, will sell for price during the last hour of the sale. Circle R at the bottom of the tag if you want your item returned to you. Circle NR if you do not. Anything with a NR or not picked up by 1:30pm will be sold at the dollar dash or donated to a local charity. Anything not circled R or NR, will become the property of the preschool. Tagging and Pricing Other Items: Use the same tags and guidelines provided for clothing, including description. Use clear packing tape, scotch tape, or safety pins only to attach to items.

Shoes: Shoes will be tagged by punching a hole in the price tag and lacing a shoelace through the hole or by tying the shoes together and taping the price tag to the bottom of the shoe or by placing the shoes in a ziplock bag. Do not use tape to attach tag, otherwise it can come off and be lost. Books/Videos/DVDs/CDs: Attach the price tag to the outside back cover with scotch tape. Use the title of the as the description in case it gets pulled off. Try not to cover pertinent information. Games/Puzzles/Crafts: Attach the card with scotch tape or clear packing tape on the upper corner of item. You may also place in a Ziploc bag with the price tag on the outside of the bag. Linen and Bedding: Attach price to the outside of the packaging with clear packing tape or safety pin to the top right corner of the item. Toys: Assemble as usual and attach the card with clear packing tape right on the plastic toy. If there are loose items, make sure they are in a bag and securely attached to the toy. If the toy has many pieces, place in a large clear plastic bag so the buyers can view it, then tape the tag to the outside of the plastic bag. Make sure the toy is in working order with batteries. Make sure all pieces are included. Baby Equipment: Items that have a tray or open seat (highchair, exersaucer, walker, swing, step stool, etc.), attach the price tag with clear packing tape to the tray, step, or seat. Other items attach the price tag using string or yarn in a visible area. Socks, underwear, safety items (anything in a bag): Group bibs, sheets, socks, newborn t-shirts, receiving blankets, blocks, puzzles, small toys, etc. in a clear zip lock bag. On the price tag include the number of items with the description (i.e. 2 receiving blankets, 3 bibs, etc.). Attach price tag with clear packing tape. Large Items: Please attach price tag with clear packing tape. If the item can be disassembled, then take a picture of the item put together and sell it disassembled. Remember that the buyer will need to be able to get it home and many do not have a truck or van to take it in.

Check In: On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday bring all your sale items to the Fellowship Hall during the scheduled times. All items must be dropped off by Friday at 11:00 am. Please be aware that we cannot allow early drop off of consignment items. You will need to make arrangements ahead of time to either drop off the items yourself or find someone to help you. Anything that is dropped at the church before the appropriate time will not be put on the sales floor. Understand that the wait to check your items in gets longer later in the week. We suggest that you drop off some of your items each day, so you are not bringing your full load at the end of the week. Pricing: Price your sales items higher that garage sale prices, but generally less than a consignment store might price them. Remember, Old Bridge Preschool receives 35% from your total earnings. Sellers will not be permitted to change prices on their items during the sale. Prices must end on the dollar or halfdollar amount (i.e. $1.00 or $3.50). REMEMBER TO CIRCLE THE PRICE IF YOU DONT WANT IT TO SELL FOR HALF-PRICE OR LEAVE IT UNCIRCLED IF YOU WANT IT TO SELL FOR HALF-PRICE DURING THE LAST HOUR OF THE SALE. ITEMS MARKED NR OR NOT PICKED UP BY 1:30 PM WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOLLAR DASH. CONSIGNERS WILL NOT BE PAID FOR ITEMS SOLD AT THE DOLLAR DASH. **************Pick up of left-over sale items: All left-over sale items that are marked with a R must be picked up between 12:30pm and 1:30pm on Saturday (the day of the sale) at the church. We will start the dollar dash promptly at 1:30pm. Please do not come to pick up items before the end of the sale at 12:30pm. Any items marked with a NR OR NOT MARKED AT ALL or not picked up by 1:30pm become the property of Old Bridge Preschool. If you cant come back, you may have a friend pick them up for you (you must provide the friend with your seller ID number). Please allow enough time to find your items at the end of the sale. Consigners will not be paid for items sold at the dollar dash. Distribution of earnings: Your earnings from the sale will be sent to you in the form of a check two weeks after the sale. A $10 seller fee will be deducted from your earnings. You will receive 65% of the total amount you sell minus the $10 fee. Consigners will not be paid for items sold at the dollar dash. The Preschool will use these funds for the general fund and for tuition assistance.

Volunteers: Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hour shifts. Working a total of 6 hours will enable you to shop first before the consigners and the public on Friday evening!!!! Volunteers will be needed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you are working, please wear a blue or purple shirt (Old Bridge Preschool shirt if you have one). This will help shoppers locate the workers and will also help us locate each other quickly. If interested in volunteering, please contact the director at director@oldbridgepreschool.org. Advertisement: Please take fliers everywhere you go. Post them on bulletin boards at coffee shops, book stores, grocery stores, dance studios, gyms, restaurants, libraries, etc. Pass them out to all your neighbors, family, and friends. Call the preschool office to get a supply of fliers. Send an email to director@oldbridgepreschool.org, if you would like the flier emailed to you. The flier will also be located on the website. The more we advertise, the more successful the sale will be for everyone! Mark your Calendar: for April 5, 2014. Spring/Summer Consignment Sale is tentatively scheduled

Old Bridge United Methodist Church and Preschool and its staff members and volunteers will be held harmless for any physical or emotional injuries and/or property thefts occurring during the consignment sale, on the premises of Old Bridge United Methodist Church. Old Bridge United Methodist Church will make every reasonable effort to provide a safe environment, however, all individual on the premises are solely responsible for their physical and emotional safety and the security of their own sale items. Old Bridge Preschool values your participation in our Consignment Sale. We have procedures in place to help prevent the loss or theft of your items. However, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. Your participation in the Preschool Consignment Sale indicated that you agree and accept these terms. The consigner is responsible for ensuring that the items in the consignment sale are not on the US Recall list. This can be checked at www.recalls.gov.
