The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The Junie B. Jones and Junie B., First Grader series by Barbara Park. The Skippyjon Jones series by Judy Schachner. Twenty-Six Princesses by Dave Horowitz. Stephanies Ponytail by Robert Munch. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney, and finally, the Magic Tree House Series by Mary Pope Osbourne.

NARRATION: Have you found something that interests you yet? Have you found just the book that makes your want to rush to the media center and read? We certainly hope so. Recently 2nd grader Julianna stopped by the media center to find books on a couple of her favorite subjects.

NARRATION: In the non-fiction section, Julianna found a book titled Buddy: The First Seeing Eye Dog by Eva Moore. In the easy section, she found Mapping Pennys World by Loreen Leedy, a picture book about a girl named Lisa and her pet, a Boston terrier. Finally, in the fiction section, she chose Puppy Patrol: Teachers Pet by Jenny Dale, a great book about the most mischievous dog in the world!

She also found Baseball Ballerina by Kathryn Cristaldi, a book about a baseball shortstop whose mom forces her to take ballet. In the non-fiction section, she found Basketballs Greatest Players by S.A. Kramer. Finally, she chose a fiction book titled, The Comeback Challenge by Matt Christopher.
