    HOUSTON -- April 3, 2013 -- Calling all job seekers! Council Member Jerry Davis has partnered with the Houston Airport System (HAS) and Workforce Solutions for a job fair benefitting District B neighbors and the City of Houston as a whole. Council Member Davis hopes to see residents from the district this Friday, April 5 at Lonestar College -- North Harris Campus, 2700 W.W. Thorne Dr. from 9am to 3pm. Over 30 employers are confirmed to attend and will interview on the spot for entry-level positions in all industries. People interested in attending should dress for success, bring several copies of resumes, and an ID card. Council Member Davis realizes the importance of working to connect District B residents with one of the biggest economic forces in the City of Houston, which is why he brought the idea to Mario Diaz, Director of the Houston Airport System. Council Member Davis said of the good news, “Many constituents are not aware that we have a major job generator with Bush airport in District B and with the new Terminal B in the works there’s so much opportunity for employment.” There should be no doubt that constituents in District B will have an opportunity to gain employment.
