Business and project objective A human resource management system includes a payroll module, some of which are operated on a manual basis, while others are linked to computerized clocking in systems. By using a computerized payroll module, a business is able to automate a large number of its payroll procedures. To effectively record all of the hours that an organizations employees work, a human resource management system includes time and labor modules. Not only is each employees time and labor information recorded, but the module also enables human resource departments to easily access, assess, and analyze the information. By analyzing the information, a business can easily identify where hours can be reduced, which helps to reduce operational costs and increase profit levels. Functional Requirements For developing a human resource management system observations & feasibility study are required. As we all are aware of the fact that manpower plays a vital role in every kind of organizations, we have to observe some of the activities of a human resource department works & contains Human resources management activities include: position management and classification; labor, management and employee relations; work force development. time and attendance processing; leave processing; pay processing.

Project scope Statement


Human Resource Management system is concerned with enhanced productivity fully utilizing the combined talent and skills of the entire workforce of an organization. Human resources may be broadly defined as the sum total of all the skills and capabilities both inherent and acquired - of an organizations entire workforce. Human Resources Management (HRM), for it to be effective, must appropriately deal with the aptitude, attitude, talent and skills of each individual employee within the organization. The objective of Human Resource Management must be to evolve a suitable process whereby employees perform optimally and the goals of each individual employee as well as the organization are met.
