Deuteronomy 30:15,19

15 19

See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Today Jesus wants us to choose between life and death, blessing and curse. It is up to us what we choose. If we choose life then we are choosing prosperity and blessing but if we choose death then we are choosing curse and destruction. What are the blessings of Jesus? As we see God promise us in Exodus 20:6 But showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. Thus, if we stand in the faith of Jesus we are not alone blessed but set a bridge for our upcoming generation to receive the blessing of the lord. Today people are thinking of what to leave for their generation? They save money, property, bank balance etcBut this won`t last long enough; as we see in the story of the prodigal son. For if we fear God then we are storing enough kindness and blessing for our upcoming generation. Jesus said in Matthew 6:19,20 19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. If we stand for God then we can change our past. Joshua2:1-7. The story of Rahab speaks us clearly about it. Though she was a prostitute, she gave shelter and helped people of God and she received life, prosperity and blessing for her upcoming generation from the Almighty and her name was written in the genealogy of Jesus. David gave his best to serve God for which he could able to store enough blessing for his next generation, that`s why Ezekiel was blessed not only for his good work but also by the deeds of his ancestor. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David they became obedient to God and set an example for their generation. Likewise, we have to be a blessing not only for ourselves but also for our generation. If we are choosing death we are choosing curse and destruction. Exodus 20:5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. We have to choose the path of life, it is small, narrow and only few find it. Do not choose the path of destruction, it is wide, broad and many enter through it. So choose life of abundance, choose Jesus.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.God bless you all. (ibfforgodnation)
