Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter April 9, 2013

Pastors Notes: What an awesome opportunity Woodruff Church of God had last week. 14 people represented you in carrying the love of Jesus and sharing the good news of Christs love to the country of Honduras. From the moment we were greeted at the airport until we left the airport, we worked hard at making sure the people of Honduras knew that there was a church in the United States that believed in the Great Commission. During the trip, the group worked on pouring a concrete floor in a pastors home, putting a roof on a pastors home, putting a roof on a church, ministering to kids in a church, by the river and at a school, giving out hygiene supplies, coloring books & crayons, de-wormer & vitamins, hotdogs and hugs.. you name it, and we tried it!!!!! Thank you for the opportunity to be part of seeing the funds that we raised being put into action. For years, we got pictures of projects. Now we are IN THE PICTURES!!!!! I hope you will prayerfully consider going on a missions trip with us. Whether it is to Jamaica, Honduras, Ecuador.or wherever the door may openit will be a life-changing experience. As soon as all the pictures and videos are collected, we will be having a special service to show the congregation what all the ministry teams did so you can see your missions money at work!!!! Date to be announced! What a great service Sunday night! The Spirit of the Lord came down among us and reminded us that He will cover us and in Him only are we safe and secure. I know that many were touched and moved upon by the presence of the Lord. If you are not coming on Sunday nights, you are missing: 1) another opportunity to worship the King of Kings 2) another opportunity to be impacted, instructed and encouraged by the Word of God, 3) another fellowship opportunity to be with brothers & sisters in which you can be encouraged or encourage. Dont let these opportunities pass you by!
