MOTHERS DAY is May 12, 2013.

Each year our church recognizes the moms in our congregation with a small gift. This year we want to try something different. The men of the church would like to provide breakfast for the moms on Mothers Day. Breakfast will be served at 9:30AM in the fellowship hall. This is open to all our mothers and guests that morning. The only requirement is that you sign up ahead of time to reserve your spot. You may call the church office and let us know that you plan to attend. Moms, if you are a teacher in Sunday School, your class will be covered. All preschool and Childrens classes will be covered that day so all moms can attend. By the way, that includes grand-mothers and great-grand-mothers. Men, we will need some help to set up and clean up after this meal. Our cooks are in place and several men have volunteered, but we could always use more. You, too, need to sign up to let us know you will help. I look forward to seeing you soon.

GROUNDBREAKING Thanks to all who helped with the preparation and presentation at the GOUNDBREAKING. A great group of guys moved all the chairs back and forth in the hot sun. Jeff Jones handled all the sound setup and break down. Thanks to MARTUS for leading us in musical worship.
FELLOWSHIP CLUB Our next gathering will be at noon on Monday, May 6 and we will have our end of year Picnic-In-ThePark, at the Boat Basin. Were looking for 2 pontoon boats for rides that day. If you have one we may use, please let me know.

Mommy & Son Day Saturday, April 27, 11 am - 1 pm

Moms and their sons are invited to attend our first Mommy & Son Day. Bring a packed lunch and blanket for a picnic on the green space. FBC will provide the drinks and dessert. Then we'll play games, get wet and hang out together. We'll also have special guest speakers to talk to both the moms and sons about how each can show love and respect to each other. You will not want to miss this bonding time with one of your favorite guys!

Youth Building So excited about what is happening with our building. Now that it has officially gotten started, begin to pray for good weather, safety for workers, and a QUICK completion. I know that God has great plans for this building. 30hr Famine I am stoked about this years 30hr famine in Dothan. We are headed out on Friday at 6 and will be retuning on Saturday at around 10 that night. We will be doing various activities while staying there such as: feeding the homeless, working on a homeless clinic, and even leading the service at the homeless church. Make sure if your child is planning on attending that they let me know. Haiti We are receiving some GOOD stuff for the silent auction for the Haiti mission lunch on April 21st. We already have some Costa sunglasses, a three month Anytime fitness membership, a set of grill tools, some coffee, a weekend fishing trip, and other great gifts to bid on. It is going to be a blast. Cant wait to see you there! Merge Camp It excites me to announce that we have 69 people going to Merge camp this summer in Millington, TN. Merge is a mission camp that does activities in and around Memphis Tennessee. We will be doing missions in the morning and recreation in the afternoons. We will also be having two Worship services a day. This is going to be an AWESOME camp. I do have a few more spots reserved if you have decided to attend. See me ASAP so I can get you in!!!
