Important Notes for this Release

IP Site Connect Configuration To ensure optimum roaming performance, after upgrading a MOTOTRBO portable or mobile from a pre R1.4 release, the Front End Filter of the device should be realigned (tuned) using the latest Tuner. For further details on this retune process, please refer to the Online Help in the Tuner tool on "Front End Gain and Attenuation Control Tuning". It is also highly recommended that the MOTOTRBO System Planner be consulted for assistance with optimizing system setup. Legacy PL Falsing Certain legacy analogue subscribers configured for PL XZ (67 Hz), 183.5 Hz or 199.5 Hz sound "squelch tail" like bursts while DMR digital activity is present on the channel. It is recommended therefore that these tones be avoided if legacy analogue subscribers are required to operate on channels where DMR digital activity is present. Enhanced GPS Configuration it is strongly encouraged to review section 2.4.3.6 of the MOTOTRBO System Planner for configuration guidelines. Control Station GPS Revert Option For single site and IP Site Connect configurations, the GPS Revert option must be set to Selected in the control station radio. MOTOTRBO Bluetooth Dongle The MOTOTRBO Bluetooth dongle is compatible only with radios containing firmware version R1.7 onwards.
