tif) Divine Mercy Sunday Living Faith in April: John 20:19-31 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad. (Ps. 118:24) Would you be willing to risk your life or personal reputation to join the followers of Jesus in the crowds that day? Why or why not? Image that you were John having this vision. What would your reaction be to what you have heard and seen? Imagine that you were Thomas. If you had been absent the first week when Jesus appeared to the apostles, would you have believed based on the word of the apostles? Think about times in your life when you found belief difficult. 324 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. In Eucharistic Adoration, Jesus comes to meet us in a unique way, face to face. This is Holy ground, where we have the opportunity to listen and be in God's presence. It should be a joy, not a chore. Help is needed on Sundays from 4-6 pm., please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926. (Insert Graphic 2404-0062.tif) Coffee and Donuts will be served today Sunday, April 7 following the 8:00 and 10:30 Masses. Please stop in to share a special treat with fellow parishioners. It is time to start planning for Vacation Bible School, mark your calendars for June 17 21 from 9:00-noon for Colossal Coaster World: Facing Fear and Trusting God. This year we are looking for a Snack Coordinator as well as many volunteers. If you are able to be a volunteer, please contact Renee Barker at 330-745-1080 or renee.barker@staugschool.net. Lets get ready for the Ride of our Lives.

To say that the Lenten Almsgiving project was a success is to say the very least. By any account, the response was simply overwhelming. The $ 13,383 raised will help many families in the city of Barberton. The SVDP Society will look to put this money to the best possible use. Since SVDP has minimal administrative cost, nearly 100% of these funds will be poured back into the community. This truly was a total parish undertaking with the Grade School and Preschool having active participation. There is no way that a simple thank you is enough, but the SVDP Society, on behalf of the people this will help, is very appreciative of this grandiose achievement. A special thank you also, to Fr. David who is responsible for coming up with the idea for this campaign. Thank you very much!
