At the same time, the workers will cordon off the area with safety cones with red/white tape to demark the tree felling area. Signage will display to warn other workers working within the site.

2. Tree Felling process

1. When the lorry is in position, the lorry will unload the man-lift cage from the lorry or pickup so that the workers can attach the man-lift cage in to the boom arm of the lorry crane. 2. Once the man-lift cage is attached, worker that is assigned to work in the man-lift cage will put on his full body safety harness and anchor the 2 lifeline to the man-lift cage and boom arm before the operator lift him up. 3. Before the worker start to cut the tree branches, he will make sure all workers are clear from the felling area before he commence in cutting the branches.

4. For dried and smaller branches (Diameter: <25cm & Length: <2.5m), my worker will cut off and
let it fall to the grass patch ground or to the ground. As for larger branches (Diameter: >25cm & Length: >2.5m), my worker will secure the branches with metal chain / webbing sling that is attached on a lorry crane which will support and prevent it from felling straight to the ground. Once the large branches are cut off, it will be hold back by the lorry crane and slowly lift down to the ground.
