Directed a staff of eight for a 350-employee facility with $44M in sales and P&L responsibility. Improved profits by $2.4M FY97 to FY98 with the same level of sales. Reduced customer complaints by two-thirds (92 to 28) year over year. Improved operational efficiency by 8.7% through reduction of 40 positions. Directed the upgrading and replacement of equipment reducing scrap by over 30%. Successfully led plant and corporate personnel to meet timing and cost requirements on the $650MM Ford Taurus program while increasing throughput and decreasing lead time dramatically. Directed the development of one-piece flow for the engine cooling modules, and the purchase, layout and installation of new equipment.
