1. In support to the various reading programs initiated by the Department of Education and in preparation for the Division READ-A-THON Contest this August 2010, our district will conduct the 2010 District READ-A-THON (Grade Three-Filipino and Grade Five-English) Contests on August 20, 2010 at Lunsad Elementary School from 8:00am-5:00pm. 2. The main goal of this endeavor is to select the best Grades Three and Five pupils who will represent our district in the following categories: a. Team Reading-Vocabulary/Comprehension English V) b. Story Retelling (Filipino III and English V) c. Oral Reading Interpretation (Filipino III and English V) 3. Each school shall send five (5) Grade Three and five (5) Grade Five pupils. 4. A registration fee of two hundred pesos (Php 200.00) shall be charged each school to defray incidental expenses. 5.
