Hey Everyone!
It’s that time of year again: Daniel Fellowship
Summer Retreat! If you’ve never been before,
welcome; and if you have, get ready for another
rewarding weekend of learning and growing.
There’s just something special about taking some
quality time away with friends new and old in an
atmosphere that stimulates people to listen, rest,
talk and refresh.
Our theme this year is Searchlight. So just what
exactly is a Searchlight? Used extensively in WWII
as defence against night-time aerial bombers (and
also probably seen in every Batman movie you
ever watched,) it’s a beam of light visible over a
large area. With our own Pastor John Tsang as our
Guest Speaker, this retreat is going to help us
young adults to understand what it means to
follow this light on our paths; the light which will
help us determine the direction of our walk as we
go out into our communities and into our world.
We aren’t going alone, God will lead the way!
So let’s “keep our lamps burning” and get ready for
the spiritual luminosity. Searchlight is going to be
another great camp; prepare yourselves for a
weekend of fun games, crazy activities, groovy
friends, and one awesome God.
