SAFETY PROCEDURES For the safety of the operator and unauthorized personnel before operating the system, 1. All ACB, circuit breaker, and isolator must be in OFF position 2. Make sure no unauthorized personnel in any of the restricted are 3. A visual check has to be carried out for all the switch boards to make sure no foreign object is on the busbar and wires that can cause a short circuit to the system 4. Always switch OFF the switchgears and lock all isolator and room after operation

- Presence of dust or dirt on the insulating parts - Safety rings out of place, screw or nut loose - Deformation or cracks on the insulating parts - Isolating contacts oxidized(only for withdrawable circuit breaker)

- Clean with brush or dry cloth - Put the ring back in place and tighten screw or nuts - Ask ABB SACE for replacement of the damaged parts - Remove shutter and clean with a rough cloth soaked in a suitable solvent and lubricate moderately with neutral grease

5.Earthing Pliers (only for withdrawable circuit breaker)

- Presence of oxidation or loose nuts

- Clean with rough cloth soaked in a suitable solvent and lubricate moderately with neutral grease. Tighten the nuts fully

6. Earth Connection (only for fixed circuit breaker)

- Presence of oxidation and/or loose nuts

- Clean with rough cloth soaked in a suitable solvent and lubricate moderately with neutral grease. Tighten the nuts fully
