You can also print the file in any Microsoft Windows-based word processing program by clicking Print on the File menu. --------Contents --------This CD contains the supporting files for this course. To view the contents, double-click StartCD.exe. The following table describes the contents. File or folder Description --------------------------------------------------------------------Autorun.inf When the CD is inserted into the CD drive, this file opens StartCD.exe. Default.hta This file opens the Student Materials Web page. It provides students with resources pertaining to this course, which may include additional reading, review and lab answers, lab files, multimedia presentations, and course-related Web sites. This file explains how to install the software for viewing the Student Materials CD and its contents and how to open the Student Materials Web page. When the CD is inserted into the CD drive, or when you double-click the StartCD.exe file, this file opens the CD and allows you to browse the Student Materials CD. This file contains instructions to launch StartCD.exe. This folder contains the files that are required to view the course Web page. To open the Web page, open Windows Explorer, and in the root directory of the CD, double-click StartCD.exe.

StartCD.ini Webfiles

The following hardware is recommended to view the material on this CD: 1. A computer running Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003. 2. VGA or higher resolution monitor; Super VGA, 256 colors minimum; True Color recommended. 3. Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device. 4. Internet connection through a modem or proxy server. 5. Audio board with headphones or speakers. For best results, display the maximum number of colors on your monitor. To display more colors 1. Open My Computer, and then open Control Panel. 2. Double-click Display to open the Display Properties dialog box. In Windows XP, the Display icon is located in the Appearance and Themes category. 3. On the Settings tab under Color Palette, select the maximum number of colors available, and then click OK. To install Microsoft Internet Explorer: * Visit the Microsoft Internet Explorer download site at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=45576 To install Microsoft Office Viewers: 1. Visit the Microsoft Download Center website at http://www.microsoft.com/downl oads. 2. Click on the "Office" link in the Product Families section of the TOC. 3. Select the viewer to install. 4. Follow the download instructions. To open the Student Materials Web page: 1. Browse to the root folder of the CD. 2. In the root folder of the CD, double-click StartCD.exe. To install Adobe Reader to view included PDF files: * Visit the Adobe Web site at http://www.adobe.com
