:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Attached to this bulletin is a documentary that serves as an example of the government lying to the American people; with testimonies from Donald Rumsfeld, and other living, active politicians. Take this example and apply these feelings towards the more recent 9/11 incident. Back then, it would have been scandalous to speak of such things. The government would never lie! Right? Wrong. In 1969, The U.S. government covered lies with lies, all in a struggle for power. Innocent lives were lost. But WHO CARES? This happened nearly 40 years ago! YOU should care. All of us need to care.

It is the responsibility of the people to voice the needs of the people -not to be silent and obedient, or passive and docile. It is the responsilbility of the government to protect and serve the people -not to lie to the people or harm the people in any way.

There is only one reason Rumsfeld and others are willing to talk about this now. That is because the event was SO long ago. The government assumes that the generation that watched the "moon landing" has grown old and no longer cares; so now it is ok to talk about these lies. When will it be ok for the government to admit its lies about 9/11/2001? When will they laugh and drink through the filming of a documentary about how they fooled the American people? Watch this video. See how arrogant and proud our government is for lying to us. I am not trying to inspire a rebellion. I am trying to inspire a change. Our government is gaining more and more power -not just around the world, but here at home, and in your head. We cannot put these people on pedestals and surrender to them the control of our lives. In school elections, there is often a budget set on what a nominee can spend on campaign promotions/spending. Limits on what can be spent out of pocket, and limits on what can be donated. To ensure fair elections, we need to take actions that require a limit on money in politics. It should not be about who has the money, or who has the power; It should not be about republican vs. democrat; elections should be about who most accurately represents our people. Not only the 'commander and chief', but every congress member and state

representative as well. Thank you for reading, -Travis

"Today's unlimited campaign spending generates a relentless pursuit of money by politicians, a vast inequality of influence, and a grossly unfair advantage to candidates able to raise lots of money (usually incumbents) or to wealthy candidates able to use their own resources. Thus bad candidates or ideas beat out good ones because the former are heavily bankrolled." source: http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0377/is_n133/ai_21186005
