Waiver and Release

"Participant" hereby releases the American Legion Post 172, Sons of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, the City of Mercedes, Mercedes School District ,Mercedes Area Chamber Of Commerce and all others connected with the Veteran's parade from any and all claims by participating arising from his/her participation in the Veterans Day Parade in

Mercedes, Texas.

In exchange for the right to participate in the parade, participant hereby waives, releases and discharges and all claims for injuries to person, including death, or property that participant may incur as a result of participant's involvement in the Parade. This release discharges, the American Legion family Post #172, the City of Mercedes, Mercedes Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mercedes Independent School District their respective agents and employees ("other") associated with the Parade, Even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the American Legion family Post #172, the City of Mercedes, Mercedes School District, Mercedes Area Chamber Of Commerce or others involved in the parade. Further, the participant hereby grants full permission to any or all of the foregoing; to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recording~ or any record of this event. Participant agrees that this Waiver and Release shall be binding on participant's personal representatives, heirs, assigns and next of kin. Participant has carefully read and understands the foregoing Waiver and Release and signs it at his/her own free will.
