spirit. Let us keep all these parishioners in prayer. A reminder to all

† LENTEN PENITENTIAL SERVICE – Our Lady of Fatima Parish

Please note the Celebration being held on Wednesday this week at Our Lady of Fatima at
2:00 p.m. We have recently had a celebration during the Parish Mission. There will not be
one held here this week. The Sacrament may be celebrated before any Mass until Easter.
We will also host time on Easter Saturday afternoon.

“CULTIVATING THE SEEDS OF FAITH”: An Adult Faith Formation Program:

The final session in the series is this Tuesday from 7 – 8:308:30 p.m. at St. James the Less Parish
Hall, Eganville. Presenter: Father Peter Proulx; Topic: The Mass.
CHRISM MASS AS PILGRIMAGE: We often speak of Lent as a journey, a pilgrimage.
Pilgrimage is an ancient sign of penance and an act of faith and hope. Whether you go to Rome
or Lourdes or Jerusalem, or simply to a local shrine or to your cathedral church, a pilgrimage is
a simple and powerful way to pray during the Lenten season.
The Chrism Mass is an annual liturgy celebrated by our Bishop, assisted by all of the priests of
the Diocese, during which he blesses the sacramental oil used throughout the Diocese for the
liturgical year. The Bishop invites the faithful of the entire Diocese to celebrate with him in
our cathedral for this occasion. This year, the Chrism Mass will at 7:00 p.m. on April 7th.
This is a wonderful occasion for us to make a pilgrimage to our Cathedral with family and/or
friends to experience the grace of this beautiful celebration.
PASSION SUNDAY (PALM SUNDAY) LITURGY: Please note that
we will again gather in the Parish Hall to begin Mass next Saturday and
Sunday. We will process to the church at the appropriate time. Please
join us at the hall to begin our celebration next weekend.

Tickets are available TODAY at the entrances to the church. If you can help the parish
again this year by taking tickets for yourself, or to sell to family and friends it will go a
long way toward reaching our goal of a sellout of all 2500 books. Thank you for your
support in previous years! This major fundraiser contributes to the on-going maintenance
and upgrading of our Parish.
