The increase in minority students is a gratifying sight for the many students, faculty and administrators who have worked for it, Loh said. Diversity remains as an important aspect to a college campus. Despite Marylands recent success, Loh explains that more work to increase minority enrollment remains. Since diversity stands as an important aspect to a college campus, I think this information should be shared with students via a diamondback story. I think Diamondback readers will be interested in a story about diversity on campus because they are directly involved. The story would include: Description of the recent increase Explanation of the importance of diversity Quotes from President Loh about... o His delight for this increase o University plans to continue the increase in diversity enrollment
