Editions The standard edition is the multi- volume Twickenham one which is available in a one- volume version called The Poems of Alexander Pope, ed. John Butt, London: Methuen 1963. It has some annotations. Routledge English Texts has an edition ed. by Robin Sowerby called Alexander Pope Selected Poetry and Prose, London and New York: Routledge, 1988, which has fairly student- friendly notes at the back.
