    To Shri R.K. Upadhyay, CMD BSNL New Delhi-110001 Sub.: Declaration of four SSAs of AP Circle i.e. Adilabad, Srikakulam, Khammam and Krimnagar SSA as soft tenure stations - reg. Sir, We would like to draw your kind attention in the subject matter that in A.P. Telecom Circle, there are 22 SSAs spread over to a large area comprising of three geographical regions viz. , Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

    In the following SSAs, Circle is facing acute shortage of supervisory officers due to lack of basic in infrastructure and amenities. The officers posted in these SSAs are reluctant to go and work and somehow managing to get cancelled the orders applying the different influences. Therefore, the shortage of the officers is continuing less than 50% to the satisfaction level. Hence, Keeping in view of the above reasons GM(HR/Admn), %CGMT, AP Circle vide letter no. TA/STA/70/4/TS/2008 dated 05.04.2013 (enclosed) has proposed following SSAs for declaring as All India Soft Tenure Stations with the reasons mention as below:S.No. SSA /Station 1. Adilabad Reasons for declaring as Soft Tenure Station
    More than 50% area is spread with deep forest . This is the border district of Maharashtra. No adequate medical/ educational facilities. Extreme climatic conditions. Most backward district declared in AP. Tribal area with 50% forest area. Interior district with the hilly regions. Health hazardous esp. Dengue fever prone area. IHO also deputed a special team to investigate the reasons for fever, spread in this area. Backward district with 50% forest area , Due to high quantity of florin in the water, florosis disease is spread over in the district. Always records highest temperature in Summer. Extreme climatic conditions. Backward district with 90% rural area. Poor transport facilities. Under-developing area. Naxal dominated area. Extreme climatic conditions.
