kosti is one of the major main city cities in Sudan located civilian kosti in white
Nile state. and distance from it is about 470 kilometres south of Khartoum State
Research problem (state
the existed, expected Khartoum state about 470kilo meter and climate describe by poor savanna and
geographical position of town it lying between tow lines length54-31north 37and the gap)
12latitude. The Total population is estimates at 284000 at distributed in 79 areas
as of 2010. It is located stand onin the western bank of the white Nile river
opposite to rRabak city the(capital of the white Nile state) . it is bounded bordered
on in the north by goly Goly locality, in the west by tTendlty locality and on in the
south by aAlslam locality.
In 2010 , an outbreak of diarrhea resulted in 4908cases in white Nile state , out of
which 2649case (53%) recorded at in kosti Kosti locality that constituted the
highest percentage compared with other localities y counterparts and were the cases
of were mainly in abeshraeef Abeshraeef and elnasuer Elnasuerarea
neighbourhoods .(1).

Contaminated water sources can transmit bacteria and parasite is one major factor
of increase diarrheal diseases causes in abushreef and elnasuer area.
