Hi Everyone,
2nd - School Council
Its been an exciting day with the laying of the final layer of asphalt.
- Prep for Puberty 1
This will give us a fantastic hard surface, especially in the winter

months. We will now take some time to decide on the line markings (Grade 6)
for the area. This project has been made possible by the generous 3rd Assembly 3pm BTR
support of Andrew Browne from Pat Ash and Civil, who undertook the
project management as a community service. 8th Grade 6 Transition to
Gisborne SC
On Wednesday the district cross country was held at Macedon. The
weather was great, the competitors tried their hardest and several 9th - District Football &
have gone through to the next level, and the organisation was Netball (Grade 5 & 6)
streamlined and ran to plan. A huge thank you to Claire Davis and - Mothers Day Stall
her team of helpers who ensured that the day ran very smoothly.

14th Naplan Week
Before the cross country, the whole school participated in an ANZAC
service organised and conducted by our school leaders. They led the 16th Curriculum Day
students, staff and parents in a respectful and reflective memorial

which concluded with the laying of wreaths made by the students at
the Memorial Gates. 23rd Prep for Puberty 2
Next year I am planning to take long service leave in term 1 to (Grade 6)
volunteer at the Ruben Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a school in the 24th Assembly 3pm BSD
Mukuru slums. Hopefully a friend and I will be working with teachers
and students there. School Council have given permission to collect 30th Prep for Puberty 3
the Woolworths Earn and Learn tokens on their behalf and as a an (Grade 6)
awareness-raising activity for our students. Forms are attached to this
newsletter. Once they are filled, please place them in the box at the 31st Assembly 3pm MNG
front office. We have many more sheets at the office when required.
Ask your friends, grandparents and neighbours to collect the tokens June
on your behalf. The promotion runs from April 8th to June 9th 2013. 3rd Kinder Kapers
We were very disappointed to learn earlier this week that we did not 2.30-3.30 pm
