About GEU: We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as Graphic Era University, Dehradun formed under section 3 of UGC Act. 1956, dated August 14, 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Graphic Era University, formerly known as Graphic Era Institute of Technology established in 1998 is reckoned for its academic excellence in engineering sciences & management studies. The institution has delivered world class engineers, managers, and is a centre for research and specialized studies. We offer academic and professional programs at Undergraduate and Post-graduate level in Engineering, Management, Computer Application and Hotel Management. Graphic Era consists of following Institutes as integral constituents: Graphic Era University Estd. 1998 (offers 27 undergraduate and postgraduate courses). Graphic Era Hill University Estd. 2011 (Two different Campuses at different locations) a) Graphic Era Hill University (Located at Clement Town Cantonment Area and has Rajaji National park as its backdrop). b) Graphic Era Hill University (located at Sat Tal Road, Bhimtal). 2. About Promoter: GEU is fructification dream of Prof. Kamal Ghansala (President-GEU) B. Tech and Masters in computer Science and Engineering. He has a rich teaching experience and a leading expert in teaching Computer Aided Design (CAD), Programming languages and Data Structure. Besides expert in his own domain, he is also an avid sportsman and a recipient of Uttrakhand Rattan Award, the Millennium Goldstar Award (Thailand and the lifetime achievement Award from Economic Development and Research Association, New Delhi for his exemplary contribution to technical and professional education.

GEU Location: Spreaded in about 30 acres of land and Nestled in valley of Dehradun surrounded by Shivalik range on one side and Rajaji National Park on the other side, near to the cantonment area of Clement Town provides an ideal place for Academic Quest. Located at the starting of Dehradun and close to Delhi Dehradun highway. Six miles distance away from Dehradun highway and 2 miles away from ISBT the university is well connected with AIRPORT. 4. Also submitted research project grants worth Rs 4 Crores (18Projects) in 2012 RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS: 248 Research publications in 2011-12,108 International Journal and 78 International Conference publications (incl. IEEE Transactions, Springer, ASME, Elsevier,) in 2011-12, GEU faculty also published 2 books, one of them published by SpringerGermany.

Tushar Gupta (B.Tech - Mechanical 2012) got Scholarship of More than 40 lacs from University of Texas. b. 32 students accomplished more than 97 percentile score in GATE 2012 with 12 students more than 99 percentile. c. 12 Students of B.Tech 2012 passing out batch with more than 99 GATE percentile selected for admission in M.Tech in IISc Banglore & reputed IITs d. 8 students selected in Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy. e. 1 student qualified IES with Rank 59.
