CALL TO CONFESSION Liturgist: Trusting in the love of God to make all things new, let us confess our sin to God and our neighbor. PRAYER OF CONFESSION All: God of mercy, your command to love one another across all differences opens us to new horizons, yet we often respond with fear and judgment that hinders your goal for humanity. Food Shelf This is the last week for the Feinstein Challenge at the Food Shelf. All donations are due by the end of the month. They are less than half way towards making their goal. Lets help them as much as we can. Canned vegetables, fruits, protein items, cereals, and paper goods are all wonderful items to help them meet their needs. See Bob and Jane Welch if you have questions. Bible Study The group will continue the conversation about forgiveness on Tuesday, April 30th at 4:00 PM. Church-wide Stewardship Meeting & Pot Luck Please join us for an evening of information on stewardship. Members of the Vermont Conference Stewardship Committee have requested time to visit and share ideas with us on stewardship. They will make a short presentation then have questions and answers. The evening will be followed by a pot luck dinner. All members of the church community are encouraged to attend. The meeting will begin at 5:00 PM on April 28th. Blankets for Church World Service Help us provide blankets for those in need around the U.S. and the world through a donation of $10, $15, or $20 in the name of a mother or father. We will be collecting donations and dedications in time to list the names of those honored in the bulletin for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Help us keep someone warm through this mission project. SW Association Annual Meeting The Southwest Association Annual Meeting will be held on May 19th from 2:30 5:00 PM at the Dorset and E. Rupert Church in Dorset. There will be a program of information followed by the business meeting to elect officers and committee members. All are welcome. Church Yard Sale Save your gently used items for the church yard sale. We will join in the Town Yard Sale Event on June 8th. Christian Ed will have their chicken barbecue on that day and the Farmers Market will be held on the church lawn. More information coming! Prayer Request - Forms are located in the pew racks. Written requests may be placed in the offering plate or in the prayer box. You may also request prayers by calling Bobbi Mills (438-5653).
