Bahagian 5 : LANGKAH-LANGKAH PERTOLONGAN CEMAS

(Section 5 : FIRST AID MEASURES)

Tertelan (Swallowed) Basuh mulut dengan air yang banyak. Jika keracunan berlaku segera hubungi doktor. Jika tertelan jangan meransangkan untuk memuntahkan. Jika keracunan berlaku, hubungi doktor. Beri perhatian sepenuhnya kepada mangsa. Jangan berikan air kepada mangsa yang dalam keadaan mengantuk atau tidak sedarkan diri.
(Rinse mouth out with plenty of water. If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, lean patient forward or place on left side (head-down position, if possible) to maintain open airway and prevent aspiration. Observe the patient carefully. Never give liquid to a person showing signs of being sleepy or with reduced awareness ; i.e. becoming unconsciousness. Give water to rinse out mouth, then provide liquid slowly and as much as casualty can comfortably drink. Seek medical advice.)

Sentuhan Mata (Eye) Jika terkena mata, sengkang mata dengan segera dan basuh dengan air bersih yang mengalir. Pastikan irigasi di bawah kelopak mata dengan mengangkat sekali-sekala kelopak mata atas dan bawah. Jika sakit tidak lega atau berulang, dapatkan bantuan perubatan. Selepas cederaan mata, kanta lekap hendaklah ditanggalkan oleh staf yang mahir sahaja.
(If this product comes in contact with the eyes, wash out immediately with fresh running water. Ensure complete irrigation of the eye by keeping eyelids apart and away from eye and moving the eyelids by occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. It pain persists or recurs seek medical attention. Removal of contact lenses after an eye injury should only be undertaken by skilled personnel).

Sentuhan Kulit (Skin) Jika produk ini tersentuh kulit, cepat-cepat tanggalkan semua pakaian yang ternontaminasi, termasuk alas kaki (selepas membilas dengan air). Basuh pakaian yang terlibat dengan air (dan sabun jika ada). Jika terdapat rengsaan, dapatkan bantuan perubatan.
(If skin contact occurs, immediately remove all contaminated clothing, including footwear. Flush skin and hair with running water (and soap if available). Seek medical attention in event of irritation.)

Sedutan (Inhaled) Jika terhidu atau tersedut wasap, jauhkan dari tempat yang tercemar. Bawa ke tempat yang berudara segar. Baringkan mangsa. Pastikan mangsa berasa suam dan rehat. Tanggalkan gigi palsu yang mungkin akan menyekat atau menyusahkan pengaliran udara ketika bernafas. Beri pernafasan tiruan jika pernafasan terhenti. Gunakan kaedah CPR jika tersedut, jauhkan dari tempat tercemar. Mangsa digalakkan untuk menghembus hidung untuk memastikan pernafasan lancar. Jika ketidakselesaan atau irritasi berlaku dapatkan rawatan doktor.
(If fumes or combustion products are inhaled remove from contaminated area. Lay patient down. Keep warm and rested. Prostheses such as false teeth, which may block airway, should be removed, where possible, prior to initiating first air procedures. Apply artificial respiration if not breathing, preferable with a demand valve resuscitator, bag valve mask device, or pocket mask as trained. Perform CPR if necessary dust is inhaled, removed from contaminated area. Encourage patient to blow nose to ensure clear breathing passages. If irritation or discomfort persists seek medical attention.)

(For potassium intoxication : renal excretion following intoxication. The presence of electrocardiographic evidence of hyperkalemia or serum potassium levels exceeding 7.5 mE / L indicates a medical emergency requiring an intravenuous line and constant cardiac monitoring. Arahan Pencegah Api (Fire Fighting Instruction) Beritahu Bomba tentang lokasi dan jenis bahaya. Pakai alat pernafasan serta sarung tangan pelindung untuk api sahaja. Cegah tumpahan dari masuk longkang atau salur air dengan apa jua cara. Gunakan prosedur memadam api yang sesuai untuk Kawasan sekitar. Jangan dekati bekas yang disyaki panas. Sejukkan bekas yang terdedah api dengan menyembur air dari tempat yang terlindung. Jauhkan bekas dari laluan api, jika selamat berbuat demikian. Dekontaminasi peralatan dengan rapi selepas digunakan.

Prevent by any means available, spillage from entering drains of water courses. Use fire fighting procedures suitable for surrounding area.Do not approach containers suspected to be hot. Bukan mampubakar,. Tidak terbakar tapi kepanasan yang kuat akan menghasilkan wasap-wasap toksik. Suhu panas menyebabkan penghancuran yang akan menghasilkan wasap phosphorus oxides (POx).

Tumpahan Sedikit (Minor Spills) Memakai pakaian keselematan, sarung tangan dan kacamata keselamatan. Bersihkan semua tumpahan dengan segera. Elakkan dari menghidu wap dan terkena kulit dan mata. Kawal kontak peribadi dengan menggunakan alat-alat pelindung. Bendung dan serap tumpahan dengan pasir, tanah, bahan lengai atau vermikulit dan lap. Masukkan ke dalam bekas berlabel yang sesuai untuk pembuangan sisa.
(Wear impervious gloves and safety glasses. Clean up all spills immediately. Avoid contact with skin and eye. Control personal contact by using protective equipment. Contain and absorb spill with sand, earth, inert material or vermiculite. Wipe up. Place in a suitable labelled container for waste disposal).

Tumpahan Banyak (Major Spills) Kerah staf keluar ke arah yang bertentangan angin. Beritahu Bomba tentang lokasi dan jenis bahaya. Pakai pakaian pelindung seluruh-badan serta alat pernafasan. Cegah tumpahan dari masuk longkang atau salur air dengan apa jua cara. Hentikan kebocoran jika selamat berbuat demikian. Bendung tumpahan dengan pasir, tanah atau vermikulit. Kumpulkan produk yang boleh diselamatkan ke dalam bekas berlabel untuk kemungkinan dikitar semula. Serap bahan tumpahan dengan pasir, tanah atau vermiculite dan masukkan ke dalam bekas yang bersesuaian untuk dibuang.

Kumpulkan residu pepejal dan tutup dengan rapi dalam deram berlabel untuk dibuang. Basuh kawasan dan cegah limpahan ke dalam longkang. Selepas operasi pembersihan, dekontaminasi dan basuh semua pakaian pelindung serta prealatan sebelum disimpan dan digunakan semula.

After clear up operations, decontaminate and launder all protective clothing and equipment before storing and re-using. If contamination of drains or waterways occurs, advise emergency services)

Bahagian 8 : HANDLING AND STORAGE

Pengendalian (Handling) Elakkan dari bahan yang imcompatible. Jangan menghisap rokok, makan atau minum ketika mengendalikan bahan. Elakkan terkena mata. Tutup bekas dengan rapi sekiranya bahan tidak digunakan. Elakkan kerosakkan bekas. Amalkan membasuh tangan selepas pengendalian. Pakaian yang digunakan ketika pengendalian hendaklah dicuci berasingan. Mematuhi peraturan pekerjaan yang ditetapkan. Mematuhi peraturan dan cadangan yang ditetapkan oleh pengilang. Bagi memastikan keselamatan tempat bekerja selalu terjaga, persekitaran tempat penyimpanan haruslah diperiksa sekerap mungkin bagi memastikan tahap pendedahan dipatuhi.
(Avoid generating and breathing mist. Limit all unnecessary personal contact. Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with incompatible material. When handling, DO NOT eat, drink or smoke. Keep containers securely sealed when not in use. Avoid physical damage to containers. Always wash hands with soap and water after handling. Work clothes should be laundered separately. Use good occupational work practice. Observe manufacturers storing and handling recommendations. Atmosphere should be regularly checked against established exposure standards to ensure safe working conditions are maintained).

Penyimpanan (Storage) Pastikan semua bekas dilabelkan dan bebas dari kebocoran. Simpan dalam bekas original. Bekas hendaklah ditutup rapi. Simpan dalam tempat yang bersuhu rendah, kering dan mempunyai pengudaraan yang sempurna. Simpan jauh dari bahan imcompatible and bekas makanan. Elakkan bekas dari mengalami kerosakkan dan selalu diperiksa sekiranya terdapat kebocoran. Elakkan penyimpanan bersama bahan acid dan oxidizer.
Check all containers are clearly labelled and free from leaks.Store in original containers. Keep containers securely sealed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
