As part of our screening procedure, may I request that you answer the following questions.
1.

Why did you decide to be a teacher? I find being a TEACHER is truly my CALLING. Whenever I teach, at the end of the day there is always an unexplainable fulfillment I always felt. I love the feeling of knowing that I greatly contribute to a persons growth and development to become a holistic individual. Relate a very difficult experience that happened in your life and how it was resolved. I had a hard time doing my thesis especially my thesis adviser I considered as a very difficult person. Our thesis is supposed to be done in one semester but in our case, with my research partner we did it for 2 semesters because of some conflicts. I reached the point of almost giving up the subject because I was so drained financially, mentally and emotionally. Thanks God that He made my family an instrument to become my inspiration and my strength to move on. They are the one who supported and encouraged me to continue in spite of my feeling of weariness and hopelessness. I just continue to fight and do all things that we were asked to do and supposed to do no matter how hard and complicated it is. I trusted God that this too shall pass and Hell lead us to the right way. I made myself open minded and understanding towards my thesis adviser no matter how difficult she is and no matter how many times she put as down. With great courage and patience we finally finished our thesis with a grade of 75. I know it was very frustrating, it is my first line of 7 in my whole stay at college but that s what she wanted. She told us that there is no other grade she could gave to us but 75 because we are too over due. Anyways, that grade does not define me and it does not mean I didnt learn from the subject. I learned a lot, not only knowledge and concepts about making a thesis but the most important is that my experiences and the people I met during those difficult times taught me a lot of lessons in life and I believe that is the most important. What gifts or talents could you share if you will be hired in Food for Hungry Minds School? I know how to sing, play badminton and volleyball. Talk about a project you led or were part of. What role/s did you play in this particular activity?

What are your plans for the next five years? Take my masters degree or maybe Ph.d. I still wanted to teach and serve p eople selflessly.

Why should you be hired in FHMS? I am confident that my experiences during my 4 years of stay at PNU which pondered my skills and knowledge will be an asset to your students learning and development.
