2. Purpose of the Position: This position is responsible to supervise and monitor establishment/administration/financial matters as well as matters related to food in order to stream line the activities of the department and directorate. 3. Working Relationship: Internal (With in Department) Secretary Section Office External (Outside Department) 4. Job Description: Areas of Responsibilities 1. To supervise and monitor establishment matters (appointment, promotion, ACRS and transfer and leave cases) 2. To supervise and monitor administrative matters (security, transport, procurement, building , furniture and utilities) 3. To supervise and examine financial matters (budget of the department and attach department, accounts, reappropriation, allocation and audit) 4. To review reports of field inspector from DFC (magistrates) for providing information in meetings regarding price control, quality control and standards of all food items, and to maintain record of reports 6. To examine the revenue report from Sugarcane Development Cess Fund and releases thereof to the concerned quarters in consultation with Finance and DCOs 5. Job Specification:

Qualification: As per service rules, preferably Masters Degree (Social Sciences) from a recognized university Experience: As per service rules, preferably at least 5 years service against posts in BS-17 and above, having passed the Prescribed Departmental Training/ Examinations 6.
