Executive Summary Report of sales for the previous term showed that the drop of sales is at an alarming state.

The trend is expected to drop further and would affect greatly on our products credibility. To ensure an increase of sales we need to expand our market and reinforce our branding among our target market. The current leading marketing tool would be advertisement through sponsorship of a reality show on TV. The cost of becoming a major sponsor for the best reality TV show would sum up to RM 3.5 Million. Although this value seemed a lot but comparative to the market price now it is considerably cheap. Furthermore, the Return of Investment was calculated to be achieved in 2 years and this is a very good reflection on the companys performance.

INTRODUCTION Background Sales record for the previous term was reported: 1. Decrease in the total sales by 10% 2. Affected area of sales drop is Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Kuantan. In addition, the survey by our marketing department showed approximately 30% of 400 respondent are currently shifting to other products that are appearing more on air and other advertising tools.

Data Source The data to create this proposal was taken from the major broadcasting companies in Malaysia. Furthermore, an online survey to determine the high impact reality TV shows was conducted through various social media and the data was collected and analyzed to further support the credibility of this proposal . Problem

Sales summary showed a drop by 10% in previous term. This trend is expected to escalate to a staggering 25% by the next term. With this basis, our products dominance is going to diminish and the drop of sales would give a major negative impact on our company.

Solution To tackle the problem in our sales, we need to expand our reach to the consumers. Using advertisement by being a major sponsor on the leading reality show on TV would be highly beneficial for our company, not only will it increase our reputation and credibility but also be enticing to our consumers and future consumers.

Objective The purpose of this proposal is to further stretch our dominance in the market as the best meal replacement snacks by using a reality show on TV as a marketing tool.

Assessment of Cost A detailed breakdown of sponsorship cost is attached in APPENDIX 1.2A. In summary, the total cost for each season would be RM 1,000,000. Since the TV show had already signed a contract of minimum 5 seasons they agreed on a platinum package of sponsorship where we are the main sponsor for all 5 seasons and the cost in total is RM 3,500,000.

Conclusion The use of advertisement as our marketing tool would highly benefit our product sales as we can now expand our reach to a bigger audience and new consumers. Thus this will ensure our sales to increase exponentially and further boost our dominance in the market.
