Gardeners Roundtable Wednesday, May 1 at 6:00 PM Building Great No-Till, No-Dig Garden Beds with Amy Antonucci
Called Sheet Mulching by permaculturists, Weedless Gardening by author & organic gardener Lee Reich, and Lasagna Gardening by author Patricia Lanza, this technique creates gardens without the heavy duty work of digging or the need for machinery for rototilling. Furthermore, sheet mulching can be done with readily available, inexpensive (or free!) materials and actually creates great, healthy, productive soil. Amy Antonucci is a certified permaculture designer and the co-organizer of the Greater Seacoast Permaculture meet-up group based in Dover, NH. She keeps bees, chickens, ducks, goats, and gardens on her small Barrington homestead. She also worked in organic agriculture for over ten years. She has spoken at libraries, schools, garden clubs and conferences.
