Just Around The Corner...

God is awake A mother and her 4-year-old daughter were preparing for bed one night. The child was afraid of the dark, and on this occasion the mother, alone with the child, felt fearful herself. When the light was turned off, the child caught a glimpse of the moon outside the window. Is the moon Gods light? she asked her mom. Yes, replied the mother. Will God put out his light and go to sleep? asked the girl. No, dear. God never goes to sleep. Then, out of the simplicity of a childs faith, the girl said something that reassured the fearful mother. Well, as long as God is awake, theres no sense in all of us staying awake. The pair slept well that night and for the many nights that followed. The Newsletter Newsletter

A Special Note To: Members

Basic Tenants of Faith Sunday School Class is starting the Masterlife Discipleship program. MasterLife 1: Disciple's Cross - is a 6-7 week Bible study starting May 5 that will help you experience life in Christ through practicing six identified biblical disciplines: spending time with the Master, living in the Word, praying in faith, fellowshipping with believers, witnessing to the world, and ministering to others. This intensive Bible study is the first in a 4 part series that addresses all aspects of the Christian Life and Faith. Part 2 addresses the Disciples Personality, Part 3 addresses the Disciples Victory and Part 4 is the Disciples Mission. This is a small group study and there are still a few spots left for people to participate. All that this program requires is your commitment to grow in Christ. Materials will be provided. See Dan Schmucker or contact the Church Office if you are interested. Daniel Schmucker: dan@assuranceweb.com

Dont Miss Your Chance to Bless and Be Blessed...The Needs are Many WLBC Praying for MUMBAI, INDIA Mumbai is the Indian melting pot. Thousands flood into the city each day in search of jobs, money, and new life and freedom. Out of desperation and necessity, street dwellings and slums have been built up around Mumbai, where people from all castes, states, languages and people groups live side by side. In such a conglomeration, tracing people groups is difficult if not impossible. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to send strategy, clarity and laborers into the harvest field of Mumbai.

Please give as you can to further North American Missions.
