Levels of control
Standby control panel This panel allows control of one hull's baliast valves and pumps and is sighted within a column just below the freeboard
deck.
Tank level and draft readouts are provided. Power supplies are dual and command of the system can sr.vitched from this panel.
be
Sea chest standby closing po\Yer The main sea chest actuator. Double acting pneumatic type is provided with an air accumulator so that on loss of main or auxiliary air supply sufficient stored pressure is available to operate the valve for about three cycles open/ciose.

With a 4:1 safety factor at 10.000 psi, it's the best connection available for demanding applications, particularly those lnvolving high cycling at high pressure. Heavy-duty design with lour layers. Rugged polyamide inner core is covered with a double ayer of high tensile steel wire, v/hich in lurn is encased In braided, high iensile vrire. Durable polyurethane jacket on outside assures long life and maximum abrasion resistance. Practical construction: Exhibits low volumetric expansion undet' pressure to enhance overall syslem.efliciency, even 0ver long distances.
