Sausage Fest Recap: Volunteers Thank You for hard work o A few issues with people not following through on what they signed up for, if you sign up to volunteer please attend Before/After Events o We need volunteers to help not only set up, but only to assist in cleaning up. This means coming to the store the day after the event to clean kegs/jockey boxes/etc. Administrative Person per event o Going forward, we will be assigning a person for each event to be responsible for coordinating the days activities and to be in charge of setup/breakdown to ensure we have no future issues with losing charis/tables/etc Moneys o We made just over $1,600 of profit at the Sausage Fest Purchasing (1) Firkin, (10) kegs and possible a few pop-up tents for the club o A bank account is being opened this week that will be in the clubs name, this will allow us to better track moneys in and out

Beer Week: Cedar Point Porch Brew o Waiting on a date for this, Joey will follow up Dr Pat McGovern o Joey and John reached out to Dr. Pat and received a great response, he is open to coming to a meeting to speak about his Ancient beer collaborations with DFH and Sam Calagion. Were going to see if he is open to doing it during PBW (Philly Beer Week) or if it should be help outside of it. Bottle Bar East 6/2 o We need brewers for this event, not to brew on premise but to donate beer. If youd like to contribute please do. Well make a post about it in the forum if there isnt one already.

The Great Session Beer Challenge (less than 4.5% ABV) We decided we would like to participate, but are opting to push the event back to later in the summer (too many other events happening in June, specifically PBW and the NHC)

3rd Friday Food (2) Fridays from now, or next Friday as most people say, we will be having a Who can be cheesier than Nick? challenge with Mac and Cheese. If youd like to participate, simply whip up your best Mac and Cheese and bring to the meeting.

Kinetic Sculpture Derby May 18th, folks who are attending can meet at the store @ 11 AM, wear your Philly HBC shirts!

Vault Brewing (June 11th road trip) Jason gave a brief intro on what to expect from the Vault brewing day. It hopefully will become a somewhat regular thing and not a one-off. In the future, there may be a collaboration done between the brewery and the club.

Barcade Brew (5/19) If you are signed up to brew at the Barcade on 5/19, please arrive at the store no later than 10:00 AM. At this point there are 4/5 people signed up. This is a good opportunity to brew for one of the upcoming events if you are unable to do so at home.
