Sukhbinder Rait's Summary

I have earned my Ph.D. in Electronics from University of Delhi, INDIA. I have been working in the field of conjugated polymer based devices. The main field of my research was conjugated polymer based solar cells. The device fabrication, characterization and optimisation were the main topic of my Ph.D. thesis. I was also involved in the fabrication and characterisation of conjugated polymer based LEDs since it shares a number of common issues as with conjugated polymer solar cells. I am recently also involved with the development of ZnO structures for solar cell and LED applications. I am simultaneously guiding, assisting, and learning from my other fellow research colleagues since I believe that learning is a continuous process, knowledge gained in any way or any type is always

beneficial, if not today but in the future. I am a hard worker and enjoying working with my own self than being dependent on any one for performing a task but do believe in the spirit of team work. Im keen to work with new persons, on new technologies, and different equipments. I am interested in building electronic circuits and have a sound knowledge of electronic circuits and concepts. Interdisciplinary work is not an issue for me; even mechanical jobs are no problem if the work demands it. I can even handle the maintenance and minor repairs of equipments along with operation of computer systems along with my work when needed. I enjoy reading about new technologies ( I am a regular subscriber to the magazine Scientific American India), and I am interested in science related news and other articles (I try to keep my self updated on latest gadgets and technologies via websites on the internet). I keep a positive and casual attitude towards life and have a scientific and logical approach in life. I like to work in a scientific environment with colleagues of similar interests.
