PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PLEASE ASK FOR HELP AT THE HALLS OFFICE IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS NOTICE CLEARING AND CLEANING YOUR ROOM: It is your responsibility to clean your room and remove all your personal belongings including posters before handing in your keys. You will be held responsible for any damage to your room and you must ensure that you leave it clean and locked. Any belongings left behind will be regarded as rubbish and disposed of accordingly. Your room, corridor and kitchen will be inspected and rooms found to be in an unsatisfactory condition may be subject to an additional cleaning or damages charge. To avoid incurring extra charges you should ensure that you: Put all rubbish in bin bags which should be placed outside the main door of your block. Dispose of any recyclable rubbish in the appropriate containers. Clean your room including the window area, shelf unit, furniture and floor area. Remove all posters and traces of blu tack and sellotape from walls and ceilings. Please ensure that your room and en suite shower room are cleaned to the same standard as when you moved in to the room Remove all belongings from the kitchen and ensure that it is clean and tidy.

HALLS OF RESIDENCE END OF SESSION ARRANGEMENTS DEPARTURE TIME AND DATE: 10.00 a.m. Saturday 15th June 2013 DEPARTURE: The accommodation session finishes on Saturday 15th June and all rooms MUST be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on that day. CONFERENCE RATES OF UP TO 25.00 PER NIGHT WILL BE CHARGED IF KEYS ARE NOT RETURNED BY THIS TIME. KEYS: It is your responsibility to hand in your key please do not leave your key with a friend. All keys should be handed in to the Halls Office if you depart during office hours or to a member of the Security Staff at the Site Reception if you depart outside office hours. Please note that the Halls Office will be open on the morning of Saturday 15th June for the return of room keys. Keys should be returned in an envelope clearly marked with your name, room number and hall. MAIL: Please collect you mail before departure. Mail not claimed by your departure date will be returned to sender. You should ensure that all your friends, family AND YOUR BANK are aware of your change of address. BIKES: Please make sure you take your bike with you when you leave, The University will dispose of all bikes left behind.

Please note that if an additional charge for damage is incurred you will be advised as soon as possible and expected to make payment within 14 days. All rooms have to be inspected and it may take up to 60 days after the end date on your contract for charges to appear on your account. The charge will include an administration fee. You should note that if you report any damage before you leave the room that the administration fee will be waived. If you are expecting to graduate this summer you will not be able to attend the ceremony if there are any outstanding charges on your account. If you are returning to the University in September you will not be able to register if there are any outstanding charges on your account.
