The Department of Computer Science and Engg offers B.E (Computer Science & Engg), B.Tech (Information Technology), M.E (Computer Science & Engg) and M.E (Software Engg) courses. The Department has dedicated and qualified faculty besides good infrastructure for computing. Research at this Department is nurtured through various sponsored programmes funded by national organizations such as AICTE, UGC and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

This seminar covers the most significant advances and research issues emerging in the field of Data mining and Network security and will be beneficial to academicians, Industrialists and students who have an inclination towards research and developmental work with Data mining in Network security. The lectures will be delivered by the eminent academicians and working practitioners who have rich experi-ence in these areas.

About the Seminar

The aim of this seminar is to explore the concepts, techniques, recent trends and practices in data mining and to discover the rising risks and threats in the area of Network security. This seminar shall provide an insight in to the growing Network security challenges and overcoming it through data mining concepts and techniques in this todays digital age. This seminar shall be competency to have a better understanding of Data mining Tools for Analysis and Prediction. This shall be encouraging to enlighten the knowledge of students, researchers and industrialists in these areas with research direction.
