FIRST AID

4.1 Inhalation Remove injured person from the polluted area and keep the person warm in a well aerated place. Keep the injured person under medical observation for at least 48 hours. The person who has inhaled the vapors may not manifest the symptoms of the intoxication. If the injured person is unconscious place them on their side. 4.2 Skin contact Wash the interested area with plenty of running water. Remove immediately all contaminated clothing. Apply a sodium gluconate gel on the effected area, massaging the skin locally. Cover the affected area with light gauze or with a clean cloth soaked in a 20% sodium gluconate solution, massaging the skin locally. Consult a doctor. 4.2 Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes keeping the eyelids open (possible opacification of the cornea). Wash with a 5% solution of sodium bicarbonate for at least 30 minutes. Consult a doctor or an ophthalmologist. 4.3 Ingestion Call an ambulance. Rinse mouth with water, do not swallow, and give water with egg white not sodium bicarbonate. Do not induce vomiting. FIRE PREVENTION

1 Suggested quenching measures The product does not result inflammable. Take away all containers exposed to fire, cool down with water, foam, extinguishing powder. All personnel assigned to fire extinguishing operations must have at disposal fit safety equipment for the respiratory system The gas-vapors formed during the fire are heavier than air and can propagate at ground level. 5.2 Quenching measures to avoid None in particular. 5.3 Combustion steam measures Vapors deriving from nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid. 5.4 Protection measures in intervention case Wear safety equipment for the respiratory system (breathing apparatus) and the body. Keep away all non necessary personnel.

6.

ACCIDENTAL OUTFLOW MEASURES

6.1 Individual precautions Intervene only after wearing adequate safety equipment (masks, gloves, goggles, boots, overalls, aprons, all in antacid material. At the end of work wash skin thoroughly. 6.2 Environmental precautions Isolate the area; prevent access into sewages, streams, excavations and cellars. Avoid all possible leakages into the environment. 6.3 Control measures Do not absorb the product with sawdust or other combustible substances. Contain leaks with sand or alumina. Remove gas-vapors with nebulized water. Neutralize the leaked product with lime, caustic soda, o better with sodium bicarbonate. Wash abundantly with water and turn to a specialized waste disposal company.

7.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

7.1 Handling Provide and use depending on the situation the following safety equipment: overalls, gloves, and boots in antacid material, gas mask and protective goggles. Avoid inhaling the vapors. Operate in an environment with the following: closed circuit, extractor hood. 7.2 Storage Store the product in adequately cool, aerated and lighted environments, away from heat sources, incompatible substances (alkali) or substances that present a risk of fire. If possible store the product in containers made of antacid materials. Use proper sign systems to identify storage areas. The products must be easily identifiable by means of their labeling. The containers must be equipped with a hermetical seal and should not be filled completely (max 94%). 7.3 Special uses The product is intended for professional use only, of which are adequately informed and trained on the dangers of possible chemical reactions. No other uses are intended other than those listed in point 1.2.
