Commissioning - HSPA Settings In the Commissioning - HSPA Settings and Create Commissioning File - HSPA Settings pages you

can set the baseband pooling resource allocation for HSPA users (High -Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA ). Related information Commissioning - Introduction HSDPA settings HSDPA 16 QAM support in use Select the HSDPA 16 QAM support in use to use the HSDPA 16 QAM support. HSDPA Proportional Fair Resource Packet (PFRP) scheduler in use Select the HSDPA Proportional Fair Resource Packet (PFRP) scheduler in use to us e the HSDPA Proportional Fair Resource Packet (PFRP) scheduler. HSDPA resource allocation Select the appropriate option from the HSDPA resource allocation list: Minimum b aseband, 16 HSDPA users per cell or Full baseband. If the selected option is Minimum baseband , you can set 1 - 3 HSDPA cells to th e same FSPA or FSPC unit. The total number of the HSDPA users cannot exceed 16. The HSDPA capacity requirement is 32 channel elements from FSPA or FSPC. If the selected option is 16 HSDPA users per cell, you can set 1 HSDPA cell per FSPA and 1 - 6 HSDPA cells per FSPC. The maximum number of HSDPA users in one ce ll (one FSPA or FSPC) is 16. The HSDPA capacity requirement is 32 channel elemen ts from FSPA or FSPC. If PA PA the selected option is Full baseband, you can set 1 HSDPA cell per FSPA and 1 3 HSDPA cells per FSPC. The maximum number of HSDPA users in one cell (one FS or FSPC) is 64. The HSDPA capacity requirement is 80 channel elements from FS and 72 channel elements from FSPC.

Note that 0000000649 HSDPA Shared Scheduler for BTS license will affect the sele ction, that is, the license will override the settings Minimum baseband and 16 H SDPA users per cell but the setting Full baseband will override the license. In order to use this license, user needs to select either Minimum baseband or 16 HS DPA users per cell. Note also that If at least one MIMO LCR is commissioned, value Full baseband is shown as default in the drop-down list. If the selection is Minimum baseband or 16 HSDPA users per cell the check box HSDPA shared scheduler for BTS in use is s elected as default. HSDPA shared scheduler for BTS in use Select the HSDPA shared scheduler for BTS in use to use the HSDPA shared schedul er for BTS. If the setting in HSDPA resource allocation is Full baseband this check box will be unavailable. HSDPA Iub delay threshold values Select the Minimum, Middle and Maximum threshold values.

Minimum: Default value is 50 ms. The minimum value has to be smaller than or equ al to the middle value. Middle: Default value is 150 ms. The middle value has to be smaller than or equa l to the maximum value. Maximum: Default value is 250 ms. This value has to be greater than minimum and middle values.
