Try garlic vinegar: Desperate times need desperate measure, and if you are dealing with a stubborn cold, you must try this garlic-vinegar recipe which is sure to benefit you instantly. In a medium sized bowl, add vinegar (at least half the bowl). Mince one large bulb of garlic (at least 10-15 cloves) and add it to the vinegar. Cover it and let it sit for about an hour. Your suggestion is good but in these days, many like burger, pizza, noodles, chips, fast food etc..
A mixture of garlic and tomato is an ideal soup for people suffering from cold and effects of winter season.
I had been doing this for years from now ,please also try fresh uprooted garlic along with spring onion.with cinnamon stick simmer them all along with veg./ nonveg like sliced BHETKI FISH...... as per your liking sprinkle some pepper when the broth is ready.

Though eating of raw garlic is highly recommended, there are many who dislike its smell. Hence, u can try to add some more garlic than what u wud otherwise eat in raw form while making your daily food. u cud grind it alongwith the masala, or just roughly pound it in a mortar-pestle or cut it into very thin slices, brown them in the tadka which can be added to the dals/spinach and make the everyday simple food a garlic delight.
No doubt about the medicinal properties of garlic. The methods suggested for,it's consumption is quite informative and easy to follow. Further it does not cost you much. Even for losing weight consumption of 2 cloves of garlic in the morning is suggested. It can be chewed with a handful of puffed rice.

Yes Joyin, Garlic will make you really rock hard if you add one piece of raw ginger and garlic grated in a 1/4 cup of water and drink it 3 times a day , it will make you rock hard .so tray it and you will know.
