PLEASE NOTE: These are the season dates for July 1,
2008 through June 30, 2009. On April 21, the Board of
Game Commissioners is slated to give final adoption to
the season dates for July 1, 2009 through June 30,
2010.
WOODCHUCKS (GROUNDHOGS): No closed season,
except: Sundays; during the antlered and antlerless deer
seasons; and until noon daily during the spring gobbler
turkey season.
CROWS: July 4-April 5, on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday only. No limit.
STARLINGS AND ENGLISH SPAR-
ROWS: No closed season, except dur-
ing the regular firearms antlered and
antlerless deer seasons and until
noon daily during the spring gobbler
turkey season. No limit.
SPRING GOBBLER (Bearded bird
only): Special season for eligible jun-
ior hunters, with required license –

SPRING GOBBLER (Bearded bird only): April 25-May
25, 2009. Daily limit 1, season limit 2. (Second spring
gobbler may only be taken by persons who possess a

Also many clients get confused when it comes to synthetic oil. Sythetic oil is
usually more than double the cost of standard oil. You will get a much longer life
between oil changes, and it will protect your engine internally better as well. The
downfall would have to be if you have been using standard oil already, changing
over to synthetic oil could be harmful to your engine seal and gaskets. This may up
your oil leaks and is not recommended. Synthetic oils should only be used from the
beginning. If you are experiencing oil leaks do not switch to synthetic thinking this
will halt your leaks. It could cause more issues than before.
