TeamLuby Update Week of May 27, 2013 Spring Street School Mrs.

Lubys class

Visiting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Green Hill Park in Worcester is a wonderful way to observe Memorial Day this weekend or at any time. It has giant granite slabs etched with soldiers letters who never made it home. This will be a busy week while we complete DRAs, West Region projects, and take a trip to Hawaii! Please remember to send in any Media books this week. Please send in any plastic grocery bags you may have but havent recycled. We will soon use them for end of the year desk purging! Dont forget sneakers on Tuesday and recorders on Wednesday! Math Club is over for the year! Thank you for allowing your children to join us each week to preview and review current math topics. If your child would still like additional assistance, please let me know and we can work out some before school time. ************************************* *Sherwood Open House 6/6 5;30 7:00 PM *Field Day Fri., 6/7; rain date 6/10 *Grade 4 Celebration Fri., 6/14 9:45 11:00; rain date Mon., 6/17 *Last day of school Thurs., 6/20 (12:15)
