The Manager, Human Resources Department, Nepal Airlines Limited, Kathmandu Nepal Post of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.

Sir,

Date:

I am writing to apply for the post of Aircraft Maintenance Technician at your company. I have completed 3 Years of my Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course(Mechanical Stream) from Indian Aerospace Engineering, Navi Mumbai, India. In addition to that, I also have completed six months training as Implant Trainee from Air India Limited, Mumbai Airport, Mumbai. The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (A.M.E) course I pursued is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India, an approved member of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). Throughout the 3 Years course (ab-initio training) I was exposed to the theoretical and practical knowledge on tools, aircraft systems and engineering 2along with the Civil Aviation Rules and Human Factors. I also took active part in assembly and rigging of Fokker F-27 and Beechcraft Bonanza present at the campus. I have passed all the exams required to hold a valid Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Certificate (BAMEC)(Ref.: SI. No.: 20101717), in Mechanical stream. During the period of six months On Job Training at Air India, Maintenance Base at Mumbai Airport, I was exposed to the checks covering servicing, modifications, repair, replacements, test, operation and inspection of aircraft components/items of equipment and major checks under the supervision of licensed engineers on technologically advanced aircrafts such as Boeing 747400, Boeing 77-200LR and Boeing 777-300ER. I have maintained the log book of the training undergone. As an Implant trainee, I was exposed and trained on human factors, safety practices in the hanger, work ethics and excelled well in the use of maintenance tools. I also took active part in various

troubleshootings on chiller, fuel nozzles, aircraft landing gears, hydraulic systems, engines, etc. which also happens to be a passion of mine. I was allocated 3 months in Accessory Overhaul Division (AOD), 1 month in Line Maintenance Division and 2 months in Base Maintenance Division. I believe my strong academic backgrounds as well as the training with the Boeing fleet of Air India makes me fit well into your company with the similar fleet of aircrafts. I would welcome the opportunity to work with the National Flag Carrier, and develop and grow along with the company to be able to prove myself as an asset, by striving to work with good work ethics, safety standards, and hard work. I would take this opportunity to improve my field of expertise, hone my skills, become a successful aircraft engineer and ultimately an asset to the company. Attached along with this letter is my resume for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
